General objective

At the end of year 2020, 90% of the drug surrenderers in Barangays Tumapic, San Jose, Lower Salug Dako, DCM and Balamban will be delisted.

Specific objective

  1. To assess the substance-use status of the drug surrenderers from the selected barangays.

  2. To increase the knowledge on illicit drug use among the community residents.

  3. To improve community participation on anti-illegal drug campaigns.

  4. Equip the barangay officials and drug surrenderers with essential skills to sustain a drug-free barangays.

To increase the Case Detection Rate and Treatment Success Rate of Tuberculosis to 90% in Barangay San Jose, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur by year 2019.

Specific Objective

  1. To increase the Case Detection Rate to 90% through improvement of utilization of TB care and prevention services by the community residents of Barangay San Jose

  2. ​To increase Treatment Success Rate among diagnosed Tuberculosis patients to 90% in Barangay San Jose​​​

Improper Solid Waste Management in Barangay San Jose, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur

To increase the number of households practicing proper solid waste segregation from 70% to 90%, composting practices from 38% to 50% for biodegradable wastes and use of garbage collection system from 18% to 50% for non-biodegradable wastes in Barangay San Jose by the year 2020.

Specific Objective

  1. Determine current status regarding Solid Waste Management Practicesof the community residents in Barangay San Jose, Mahayag.​

  2. Improve the knowledge of community residents on proper waste segregation and disposal.

  3. Improve the existing Barangay Solid Waste Management Plan (BSWMP)

  4. Ensure sustainability of programs and active participation of the community residents in Barangay San Jose,Mahayag

HIGH PREVALENCE OF HYPERTENSION IN BARANGAY SAN JOSE, MAHAYAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR

To increase the controlled cases of hypertension from 13% to 80%in Barangay San Jose, Zamboangadel Sur by the year 2019

Specific Objective

  1. To increase case finding among high risk individuals

  2. To increase the knowledge of residents about hypertension, its primary prevention, and complications

  3. To equip the community essential resources and blood pressure monitoring skills for effective assessment of hypertension

  4. To improve physical activity and diet of hypertensive individuals and high risk population group

  5. ​To ensure compliance on medication of identified hypertensive individuals
